Parker Kitchen Remodel (Re)Defined Space

C.A.R.E. AWARD WINNING PROJECT

SCOPE:

*Bring style and excitement to a small 23 year old kitchen

*Enhance functionality with more floor space, countertop space, and cabinet space and walk-in pantry

*Design kitchen island as a family focal point

*Provide a work center for family use

RESULT

*Reconfigured the floor plan to meet the kitchen objectives

*Expanded kitchen into old Dining Room

*Converted un-used Living Room into new Dining Room

*Reconfigured Entry to accommodate a pantry

*Installed new cabinets, countertops, tile floor & backsplash, appliances and lighting

*Created a walk-up work counter wired for computer use

*Opened up kitchen by removing dropped ceiling which required moving the 2nd floor plumbing hidden above

*Room reconfiguration achieved the desired open and enlarged kitchen, an improved Dining Room and open Entry

*Perimeter cabinets in Rustic Pecan with a warm Sage finish contrast the island dark Chestnut finish, granite countertops, slate accented backsplash and new lighting created style, and compliment the existing Family Room

*In addition to its beauty the feeling of openness in the re-designed kitchen allows for greater flow in the floor plan and functions well for entertaining, and included improved storage
